New Microsoft Dynamics GP Release

Fall is here and soon there will be snow on the ground in Fargo, ND. We are happy to report that Microsoft was been busy putting together the next release of MS Dynamics GP (2018.3 or October 2020 Release). Many of the enhancements in the product have come from users’ suggestions. Here are some of the highlights (not meant to be a complete listing of all enhancements) in the latest release.

Financial Enhancement

• User definable fields added to transaction entry
• Ability to import Credit Card transactions as payable invoices or manual payments
• Added 1099 NEC tax type
• Added DBA to Vendor Maintenance Card
• Copy/Paste Purchasing transactions from Excel

Distribution, Human Resources and Payroll Enhancements

• Export/Import stock counts to Excel
• Mask SSN on HR Reports

System Enhancements

• Ability to schedule Check Links for maintenance
  
• Multi-Factor Authentication (not supported with Web Client)
• Bulk edit SmartList columns
• Maximize print output screen
