We wrapped up another DirectionsNA conference last week and as usual, it was filled with exciting and informative sessions. The Microsoft keynotes are always an interesting component, and it was great to see a bunch of the 2023 Wave 1 enhancements for Dynamics 365 Business Central as well as everything that is being added to the Power Platform. It’s a good thing we didn’t play a drinking game every time we heard “no code/low code” otherwise I’m not sure I would have made it to any of the other sessions.
It was great to see some of the “old” ISVs there, as well as meet some of the newer ones. Some of the more prevalent ISV capabilities seemed to be around reporting, tax solutions, and AP automation.
I really wish I had figured out how to clone myself as many times there were multiple sessions at the same time that I wanted to attend. I’m looking forward to getting the PowerPoint presentations to see what I missed.
I’d like to personally thank all the presenters for taking the time to put together their presentations, traveling to FL, and hosting the sessions. Having been a presenter, I know that the time actually presenting is only a fraction of the total time spent away from your “business”.
I’d be interested in hearing from others as to what their main takeaway was from DirectionsNA 2023 and I look forward to seeing everyone again at DirectionsNA 2024.
