Microsoft has recently released what customers can expect to see in the upcoming 2023 Wave 1 release of Dynamics 365 Business Central. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Business Central release cadence, there are two main releases per year – Wave 1 typically April, and Wave 2 typically October, with follow-up releases for any additional fixes and features that were available in the main wave release.
BC 2023 Wave 1 release will be focused on enhancing intercompany transactions and improvements to the warehouse management area. In addition, functionality will be expanded around reporting, automation, and collaboration with improvements from the Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Teams. Another area being enhanced will include more default setup data to expedite customer onboarding.
